These frontline care providers are an integral and valued part of a multi-disciplinary team that work in a variety of practice settings including home support, assisted living, long-term care, special care units, acute care and other home and community settings.

As an educational institution, First College has helped hundreds of students from the Okanagan Valley achieve their training and career goals as a Health Care Assistant.

Our faculty of Health Coordinator, Denise Bryson frequently liaises with both Interior Health and the private sector to accommodate our students with the best clinical experience during the program. We are grateful for the support of our practice settings and glad to be part of the community.
