LGBTQ is an acronym for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer or questioning. These terms are used to describe a person’s sexual orientation or gender identity.
To foster a welcoming and inclusive environment on campus for people of all sexual orientations and gender identities, First College hosted a LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer) Celebration on Thursday, September 24, 2020. Students, staff and faculty members wore the rainbow or colorful clothing and shared their stories and support.
